Trend Spotting for 2024

Jade who is our in-house Interior Designer visited a range of furniture shows across France and Germany in January and has gathered a few of the most interesting trends together – as an insight as to what to expect as the weather warms up and we start to plan for warmer, brighter  days!

Scandi Pop Tableware is here to stay ...

We’ve all been a fan of the Scandi design trends over the years and this Scandi Pop trend is here to stay!

Taking the best elements of Scandi pop – we’re so familiar with, the soft colours, layering of tones and classic clean lines, but now adding a po of pastel colour to the mix.

Jade spotted some fun Tableware accessories from one of our Suppliers &K and we will be adding them to our shopping basket for spring!

A Focus on Colourful Outdoor ....

By now you guys know our take on Colour!

More is more in our view, Building on the amazing Nardi brand with their bright outdoor pieces we’re delighted to be able to expand our outdoor collection to now include the stunning French Brand Fermob.

Their Coated Aluminium pieces range from benches, dining tables and chairs, lounge chairs, rockers – as well as lighting and accessories, All in a range of amazing new Colourful options .

We will have this in store from end of March / Early April and we can’t wait!

Velvet is here to stay

Velvet has been one of our most popular textures within our sofa range, and we’re delighted to see its here to stay! Jade and Arthur found so many examples of amazing velvet couches in brighter tones which we are definitely into!

The coastal blue, Amber and Rust tones seemed to be popular at Maison Object and Cologne furniture shows and they will be remaining within our core range of fabric options through 2024.

If Velvet isn’t for you, not to worry! Great news is we have expanded our Fabric swatches with more textures, leathers and faux lather

Feminine & Soft is on the Rise ...

This is an interesting one, not something the team expected to see but softer more Feminine pieces seem to be here to stay. The softer corners, less harsh frames and structures gives us a more delicate shape.

This is a core throw back to our favourite era of the Mid-Century Armchair design, which has structure in its frame but a softness and neatness in its structure and shape, Our Frank and Arnold chairs are classic examples.

This sofa is something we are really excited about, we’ve a few similar pieces like this arriving for Spring 2024.

Teddy Bear for 2024 ...

Who doesn’t love a soft Teddy Fabric or Boucle fabric, we’ve went all out and introduced a full corner sofa in a Teddy Bear fabric, – it’s a statement alright but its one we’re loving. Also included in the same fabric is the Bert Reclining, swivel rocking chair – all 3 in 1 with a uber soft touch!

We will be keeping our eyes peeled for this soft corduroy teddy Bear finish as well.

If (like us!) you’re a bit scared of keeping these fabrics we highly recommend the services of the amazing Rachel and John from NP Liquid Glass to protect the plush fabrics for an even longer life!

That’s a wrap!

We hope you enjoyed our summary of a months worth of travelling to trade shows, suppliers and research, there is so much more to come through the year, were very excited to have some new pieces coming in and delighted to see so many of our favourite trends showcased by suppliers.
