• The cuckoo automatically calls for 16 hours and then is silent for 8 hours. If you want your clock to be silent at night, you must insert the batteries for the first time, keeping in mind that it will be silent after 16 hours and will start calling again 8 hours later. For example, if you set the clock to 7:45 when you insert the batteries, it will call for the next 16 hours at 8:00, 9:00, etc., calling for the last time at 23:00 and remaining silent until 8:00 again.
